Airline Service Quality Performance Data – February 2026

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) today released its Airline Service Quality Performance data compiled for the month of February 2026 for on-time performance, mishandled baggage, mishandled wheelchairs, and scooters.

The line chart illustrates the number of scheduled flights operated by Marketing Network carriers and their branded codeshare partners, after accounting for cancellations, over a two-year period relative to the current data release. In February 2024, approximately 549,000 flights were operated, which increased to 551,000 in February 2025, indicating steady year-over-year growth. This upward trend continued into late 2025, reaching 634,000 flights in December.
